1. WHAT SKILLS HAVE YOU GAINED FROM THE DEN PROGRAMME?
My involvement with the Democratic Education Network (DEN) enabled me to develop a strong foundation in project management, leadership, and intercultural communication. Through managing initiatives such as Students4Refugees, I enhanced my ability to coordinate complex projects, conduct research, and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. These experiences strengthened my organisational, analytical, and collaborative skills, which have proven invaluable in my subsequent professional roles.
2. WHAT ASPECT OF THE DEN PROGRAMME HAS HELPED YOU THE MOST?
The most impactful aspect of the DEN programme was its emphasis on international collaboration and inclusive engagement. Working alongside partners from countries such as Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam provided me with a deeper understanding of global educational challenges and the importance of cross-cultural dialogue. This exposure refined my adaptability and strategic thinking—skills that continue to inform my professional practice in public relations and community engagement.

Yes, my leadership role in the Students4Refugees project had a profound impact on my career trajectory. This experience directly influenced my pursuit of roles focused on social impact and public service, shaping my long-term professional aspirations.

Certainly. My experience with DEN frequently distinguished me in professional settings, particularly during interviews. I was able to demonstrate tangible leadership experience, the capacity to adapt projects under challenging circumstances—such as during the global pandemic—and the ability to manage intercultural initiatives effectively.
