Nerves, Growth, and the Power of Stepping Outside Your Comfort Zone

Last Friday, Chukwuemeka Ezenwa and I had the wonderful opportunity to present at the Democratic Education Network (DEN) International Students Conference at the University of Westminster. Our presentation explored the dangers of Artificial Intelligence, a topic that feels more urgent and relevant with every passing day.

Being part of this experience was both exciting and deeply memorable. It was only my second time presenting at an event of this kind, and I will not pretend I was not nervous. But that is precisely what made it so valuable. Standing up in front of an audience, pushing through the nerves, and delivering something I genuinely cared about helped me grow in ways I did not expect. I walked away feeling more confident, more capable, and more ready to keep stepping outside of my comfort zone.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Prabhakar Tailor and Lee Kennedy for making this possible. Their encouragement, support, and belief in us throughout this journey made all the difference. Thank you for pushing us to grow and for creating opportunities that truly matter.
