DEN Conference May 2025

From Fear to Fulfilment: My Unforgettable Day at the DEN International Conference

I have to say first that one day before attending the DEN International Conference at the
University of Westminster, I was very stressed. I was afraid I wouldn’t do well, afraid I wouldn’t
be able to answer questions, and just worried in general. I doubted myself and felt a lot of
pressure. But when the actual day came, I realized that there was no need to be so stressed. I
felt that I did well, and everyone who participated was so kind and lovely. Their warmth and
encouragement helped calm my nerves and made me feel more confident.
Attending this conference was truly an unforgettable experience for me because it became
a beautiful memory. I got to try new things and step out of my comfort zone. Normally, I’m not
someone who does things like this, but once I did, I found myself enjoying it. It turned out to be
something really meaningful to me not just academically, but emotionally as well.
This conference honestly opened my eyes to so many new things. I got to meet people
from different countries and cultures, and it made me realize how big and diverse the world really
is. It wasn’t just about academic knowledge it was also about connection, inspiration, and learning
from others’ perspectives. I received so much positive energy from new friends. I learned,

exchanged ideas, and gained valuable experiences from everyone here. I’m genuinely happy to
have joined this activity.
Everyone presented their work so well, and each topic was interesting in its own way. I
also learned new things that I had never known before from this event. Plus, I discovered some
weaknesses in my own presentation, which I will definitely work to improve. Besides gaining new
knowledge, there were also meaningful moments of discussion and exchange. Everyone was able
to respond to questions thoughtfully and actively engage in the Q&A sessions. That really enriched
the whole experience and helped me grow in many areas not just in communication, but also
in critical thinking, confidence, and adaptability.
One of the most special things I gained from this conference was the meaningful
friendships I made. It’s a memory I will always carry with me. I’m truly grateful to everyone who
supported and looked after me your kindness made it possible for me to present with confidence
and peace of mind. I received kindness, understanding, and support from people I had just met,
which touched me deeply.
One more thing that truly impressed me was the activity after the conference ended. We
played Kahoot together, and it became one of the most joyful moments for me. I laughed so
hard and felt genuinely happy. Thank you for organizing such a fun and heartwarming activity.
May 9th was truly a special and memorable day for me.
That day felt incredibly special I didn’t want it to end. I love everyone here so much that
I don’t even want to return to Thailand. This experience gave me not only knowledge, but also
friendship, courage, and unforgettable memories. I will carry them with me always.
